Tems gained international recognition with her breakout single “Try Me” in 2019, which showcased her distinct voice and musical style.

Tems‘ album “Born in the Wild” has made a notable entrance, debuting at #28 on the UK Official Albums Chart.

This debut marks Tems‘ first appearance on the UK charts and sets a record as the highest-charting album by a Nigerian female artist in the UK. Released on June 7, “Born in the Wild” has quickly gained international traction, reaching #1 on Apple Music in 22 countries within just two days of its release. This success underscores Tems‘ global appeal and her unique ability to resonate with audiences across the world.

The album includes collaborations with renowned artists like Asake and J. Cole. Even before its official release, the album’s singles, such as “Love Me JeJe” and “Me & U,” achieved significant success, charting prominently on various Billboard lists. Additionally, the album’s title track and “Love Me JeJe” were performed on The Tonight Show in May, further boosting its visibility.

Tems is preparing to kick off the Born in the Wild World Tour, which will see her performing across Europe, North America, Africa, and Asia. The tour begins on June 12 and will feature special guests Naomi Sharon and Lekan.
